What an illuminating post. We hear stories of the protests going on in Vancouver. I even have a couple of friends who have their noses out of joint that live in Vancouver, but no one has even mentioned exactly what the problem might be. It is unfortunate that I am unable to come up with a solution other than to just not have the Olympics at all and I am sure that every city that wins their bid to host this event goes through the same struggle. I am sure it must be very emotional to be in the heart of it all, no matter whether you support the Olympics or not.

As far as the knitting Olympics. I'm not sure that I see my own personal goals to do the best I can do as related to the Olympics in any way other than a time frame.

Lovely yarn. Good choice.
